NIGERIA: AIRLIFTED CITIZENS TO PAY FOR AIR FARES AND ACCOMMODATION
The presidential Task Force on Vivid 19 on Monday issued a new protocol for the evacuation of Nigerians stranded abroad who are willing to return home.
Dr Sani Aliyu, The PTF Coordinator reeled out the details of the new guidelines during the daily press briefing by the panel in Abuja on Monday.
He also said that the Federal Government will no longer bear the cost of transportation and accommodation of intending evacuees when they return home.
Dr Sani Aliyu said it will no longer be sustainable for the Government to continue to bear the cost.
He further reiterated that the evacuees would be made to sign an undertaken that they will undergo PCR testing for Vivid 19 before boarding in from their countries of departure.
The returnees are to make arrangements for accommodation in Abuja or Lagos where they would self isolate for 14 days while a repeated test will be done within 72 hours of their arrival in Nigeria.
Dr Aliyu further explained that the evacuees must test negative for Vivid 19 before they would be allowed to board Nigeria – bound flight.
He also noted that there are over 4,000 Nigerians abroad willing to come back home and that the evacuees passports would be seized by Immigration Authorities for the 14 days period of their self isolation.
Dr Sani Aliyu stated that ” it is essential this time around that things are put right and also important that we make the best use of the public resources available to us so that we have an arrangement that is sustainable and would allow the over 4,000 Nigerians that are currently stranded outside the country to come in an join their families.

.Legal term refers it as force against common right and public liberty.
RESTRICTION PLACED ON VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR
Restriction being placed on not publicly identifying the offender of violent behaviour or rape has made it easier for them to perpetrate more of the act.This is aimed towards encouraging the offended (victim) to easily come out and report the offender but is making the offender commit more assault and body harm.
Sexual Offences Act 2003 Schedule 2 .
This act was meant to remove stigmatisation of the offended person from further molestation, pressure, isolation, solitary, social distance and other vices.Sub Section 3(a) of the Amended Act 1992 states the category to includePublishing information which is not on the list and which attracts a penalty whilst it’s also an offence.This Act need to be remembered for proper identification of the offended (victim).The apex court should endeavour to remove all restriction on the offender of violence by publishing their details and keeping the records.

¶This is a major public health problem and violation of women’s human rights
.¶ About 1 in 3 (35%) of women worldwide have experienced either physical or sexual intimate partner violence or non partner sexual violence in their lifetime
.¶ 38% of murders of women are committed by a male intimate partner.
¶ This violence arose from intimate partner which is about one third (30%) of women who have been in a relationship they have experienced forms of physical or sexual violence.
¶ Violence negatively affects women’s physical, mental, sexual and reproductive health and increase in the risk of acquiring HIV in some settings.
¶Men are more likely to perpetrate Violence if they have low education, history of child maltreatment, exposure to domestic Violence against their mothers, harmful use of alcohol, unequal gender norm including attitude of accepting violence and sense of entitlement of women..
¶ Women are more likely to experience intimate partner violence if they have low education, exposure to mothers being abused by a partners, abuse during childhood and attitude accepting Violence, male privileged and women subordinate status.

It’s a gender based act of Violence that results or is likely to result in physical, sexual or mental harm or suffering to women including threat of such acts, coercion, arbitrary deprivation of freedom whether occurring in public or private.
INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE
This is behaviour by intimate partner or ex partner that cause physical, sexual or psychological harm including physical aggression, sexual coercion, psychological abuse and controlling behaviour.
SEXUAL VIOLENCE

The woman is meant to be seen in all sphere of life including obstacles encountered and pretending all is well as well as perfect.
Her opinion is not meant to make sense as she is not perceived to be the hero of the house.
The man is absolutely the king with less concentration towards his immediate family.

She is not given all the respect and accolades desrved from all the attributes she earned as a woman
The world makes the woman less privileged and raising the ego of the male counterparts.
Without a woman in any family setting, what is expected to be the outcome of that family.

In the reverse, can we adduce that ‘ “whatever a woman can do, a man can do better.”
It is obvious that there are some which the male counterparts can succeed better, but Vice versa on both parties, can they out perform each other.
Let us give respect and accolades to the woman.

LAGOS: MEDICAL DOCTOR DIES OF CORONAVIRUS
A 51 years old medical doctor has been struck dead by coronavirus at a private hospital in Lagos.
The medical doctor who attempted to manage the patient was struck dead by the virus.
He is the Second health worker to have died from the virus in Nigeria while attempting to save the patient’s life.
He is also the second medical doctor to die of the disease after his Katsina state counterpart who also died recently.
The medical doctor after being rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) , Idi Arabs died on Wednesday.
